Technology seems like a weird term to be used with backpacks, but after previously using many off-the-shelf backpacks, it seems many were clearly lacking design development. This can limit the capabilities and functionality of the backpack or it can rendered what seems like the perfect pack into a torture device for your shoulders, hips, or more. That's why we think about ways to improve pack performance to the point of obsession. This way you don't have to worry about whether the design is thoroughly developed and well thought out. These range from exclusive forward-thinking design developments such as our climbing harness compatible hip belt to backpack design methodology that should be present on all backpacks such as canted/angled shoulder straps. We bring all of these design ideas and philosophies together to provide the most comfortable, best climbing backpacks and mountaineering backpacks available, not to mention hiking and backpacking.
